SCOUT provides the status of a permit application that is submitted to DCRA and currently being processed in Accela. The status can be obtained by providing the Application ID or Property Address. This system queries against the central database repository. This data is refreshed every morning at 3:00 am. So there is a lag and status shown reflects the updates from the prior day.
