I have Metronet 1G service with their modem only (no modem/router combo). I wasn't getting expected 1G/1G speeds so they sent a technician. The best wired (Cat5e cable) direct connection to modem speed I could see is about 250/400. That speed varies throughout the day but that's the best I've seen.

I called into MetroNet support and they reset my modem and router's remotely, rebuilt my network config and had me test the speed several times. It was always 300-350 Mbps down/900+ Mbps up. When I test wireless speeds I get 300-350 Mbps down/300-350 Mbps up. I think my wireless levels are fine. I have a MetroNet tech coming out Friday morning.
